Frame Extractor

Optional if you are using Videos to quickly obtain training Images

Overview

The Frame Extractor lets you upload a video and automatically convert it into individual still frames that can be added to your dataset. This is one of the fastest ways to expand your training library with natural poses, expressions, and movements that are often hard to capture with standalone photos.

For best results, use videos that feature a single character, with clear visibility of the face and body. Clean lighting and simple environments also help produce better, more usable frames.

How It Works

  • Upload a video directly into the Frame Extractor tool.

  • The system processes the footage and breaks it into individual frames.

  • Review the extracted frames and select the ones you want to keep.

  • Edit captions as needed, the same way you would with regular images.

  • Add the approved frames to your dataset library for training.

Why Use It

  • Quickly generate a large number of unique training images from a single video.

  • Capture natural movements, transitions, and in-between expressions.

  • Add more variation in poses, angles, and perspectives.

  • Strengthen the model’s understanding of how your character behaves in motion.

  • Improve overall consistency in generation by expanding your dataset with high-quality, dynamic visuals.

The Frame Extractor works alongside your standard character images and environmental shots, helping create a richer and more complete dataset. With more variety and more movement, the model becomes better at recognizing your character and generating accurate, consistent results across every tool.
